Feeding your lawn is the best investment you can make for your lawn. Turf grasses must be properly fertilized and watered in order to maintain the right color, thickness and health. You’ll find that a well-fed and watered lawn recovers more quickly from stress and is more aggressive against weeds. As with all living things, proper nutrition and watering is important to prevent diseases and insects.
Early Spring
- Time-released Fertilizer
- Crabgrass Preventative.
- Weed Control (If temperature is warm enough to be affective).
Late Spring
- Time-released Fertilizer.
- Crabgrass Preventative.
- Weed Control as Needed.
Early Summer
- Time-released Fertilizer.
- 2% iron to improve color, establish deeper roots & relieve stress.
- Weed Control as Needed.
Early Summer
- Season long Grub Preventative (This will be an additional treatment done in conjunction with treatment #3)
Late Summer
- Time-released Fertilizer. (Will not burn the lawn.)
- 2% iron to improve color, establish deeper roots & relieve stress.
- Weed Control as Needed.
Early Fall
- Time-released Fertilizer.
- 2% iron to improve color, establish deeper roots & relieve stress.
- Weed Control as Needed.
Late Fall
- Time-released Fertilizer, to feed the roots, protect the lawn over the winter, and provide earlier green-up the following spring.
